What do you do when you fall short of the goals that you set for yourself in life? Do you scream about it? Do you cry about it? Do you feel disappointment? Or do you quit? While I would say screaming, crying and feeling disappointed is fine. You have to have a cathartic outlet during times of crisis. Quitting however should not be an option.
Quitting is something that comes from within. Often times when people quit. They blame external forces for their ceasing to achieve their dreams.
"No one can shatter your dreams without you handing them over and giving them the hammer."
What I find most interesting is that people use this phrasing when they decide to quit. "I quit because no one would give me a chance." Where as most people put the blame on the external forces of people, institutions and inanimate objects. The real reason why they gave up has something to do with the first wor "I".
That's right. Quitting starts with you.
No one can shatter your dreams without you handing them over and giving them the hammer. Your dreams are yours and no one else's. They can only be tampered with if you let them be. Stop giving external forces domain over your dreams. No matter how tough the task may seem. You can always win at achieving your goals even though the road may be tough. If you keep your eyes on the prize and press toward the mark you will win.
