Speak Life Not Bitterness

M. Nicholson Hip Hop Fitness life lessons

When speaking to a situation in the religious sense you should always SPEAK LIFE. Some times that is forgotten and some use religious speak as verbal revenge. Things like “what goes around comes around…” (Galatians 6:7) or the all time favorite “What’s done in the dark will come out in the light…” (Luke 8:17 or others).

Often times when these phrases are used it is unidirectional. One person meaning it towards the other. Nah son! It applies to those that uttered the phrase as well. Matthew 7:1-5 I believe. The people who speak the scriptural double speak at times remind of that Prince Meme with the before and after being saved photo. They forget that the LIGHT in Luke 8:17 is not a Flash Light but a multi directional light source that shines in their direction as well. They forget: The places they’ve been, Those deeds that they done. That text message they sent. That picture they sent out. That video they were in etc.
So just always speak life and pray for forgiveness of others and for self. Always take a self evaluation. Always be a blessing. Always be kind and loving.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Cor 13:4-7

About Me

About Me

Michael Demetrius Nicholson was born on March 2nd in Brooklyn, New York.

Paul Roberson is one of my heroes who inspired me to be who I am today.

While in New York. It was discovered that Michael had artistic talent. He began drawing life like portraits at the age of 6 years old. He began dancing at the age of 8. This prompted his parents to enroll him in schools for the gifted and talented. This experience even more so fostered Michael’s creative talents. He later attended the High School of Art and Design where he studied commercial art and photography.

Michael received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Ohio Wesleyan University. He originally attended the university to double major in French and theology but decided that his passion was in the arts.

Mr. Nicholson currently runs a graphic design business in Gahanna, Ohio as well as provide hip-hop fitness dance instruction at Life Time Fitness, Urban Active Fitness and Diamond Dance & Fitness.
